1. Booking confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when you receive a WhatsApp message from Magic Valley Adventures containing your booking reference number. Submitting an enquiry form or booking widget does not by itself constitute a confirmed booking. Payment details are shared via WhatsApp at the time of confirmation.

2. Payment

An advance payment is required to confirm your booking. The balance is due on or before check-in unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept UPI, bank transfer, and card payment (via Razorpay). Cash is accepted at the property.

3. Cancellation & refunds

Our full cancellation and refund policy, including tiers, timelines, and rescheduling terms, is available at magicvalley.in/cancellation-policy.

4. Activities and inherent risk

Treks, cave visits, bonfires, and all other outdoor activities involve inherent physical risk, including uneven terrain, altitude effects, and variable weather. Guests participate at their own risk and must follow the instructions of Magic Valley staff and guides at all times.

Magic Valley Adventures reserves the right to cancel, shorten, or modify any activity at any time due to weather, safety conditions, or other circumstances — without liability beyond a pro-rata refund or reschedule credit for the affected activity.

5. Guest responsibilities

• Respect the natural environment — no littering, no fires outside designated areas
• Noise must be kept at a reasonable level after 10 PM
• Guests are responsible for the safety of their own belongings
• All guests must comply with applicable Indian laws during their stay, including those relating to the Foreigner Registration Order (Form C for foreign nationals)

Magic Valley Adventures may ask guests to leave without refund for serious or repeated breaches of these responsibilities.

6. Health and fitness

Trek activities require moderate to strenuous physical fitness. Guests with heart conditions, respiratory issues, or other medical conditions that may be aggravated by altitude or exertion must consult a physician before booking and inform us at the time of booking.

Magic Valley Adventures reserves the right to decline or modify a trek booking in the interest of guest safety.

7. Photography

Guests may photograph and share their personal experience on social media. Commercial use of images featuring Magic Valley Adventures' property, branding, staff, or facilities requires prior written consent from Magic Valley Adventures.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Magic Valley Adventures is not liable for personal injury, illness, loss, or property damage arising from participation in activities, weather conditions, acts of third parties, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it cannot be excluded by law, including under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above will be updated. Bookings made before a change are governed by the version in force at the time of booking.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kerala, India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Munnar, Idukki District, Kerala.
