Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Standard cancellation tiers

We keep cancellations simple and guest-friendly — free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before check-in. Plans change, and we don't think you should lose your money for cancelling with reasonable notice.

Notice must be given by WhatsApp or email before the cut-off time. The cancellation date is when we acknowledge receipt, not when you send the message.

2. Free date change instead of a refund

Cancelling within 24–48 hours? Instead of taking the 50% refund, you can keep 100% of what you paid as credit toward new dates — one free date change, so you lose nothing. It's your choice: take the 50% refund, or move your trip.

You can also request this one free date change proactively at any time before check-in. New dates must be within 12 months of the original booking and are subject to availability; if the new dates fall in a higher-priced season, the difference is payable.

3. Cancellation by Magic Valley Adventures

If we cancel your booking due to weather, safety concerns, or any other reason within our control, you will receive either a full refund or a reschedule credit — your choice. We will contact you by WhatsApp as early as possible.

4. How refunds are processed

Refunds are returned to your original payment instrument (UPI, bank transfer, or card) within 5–7 business days of the cancellation being confirmed. Cash payments are refunded via UPI or bank transfer.

5. What counts as a no-show

A guest who does not arrive by 9 PM on the check-in date and has not informed us in advance is considered a no-show. No refund applies.

6. Group bookings

Partial cancellations — where one or more guests in a group cancel while others continue — are treated pro-rata using the same tiers above, applied to the reduced number of cancelling guests.
